How group therapy works

Our groups meet weekly or bi-weekly for 90-minute sessions with 5 to 8 carefully selected members. This creates an intimate yet diverse therapeutic community where you can:

  • Practice new ways of relating in real-time

  • Receive honest, compassionate feedback

  • Witness others' growth and healing

  • Share your story without judgment

  • Build authentic connections

  • Develop deeper self-awareness

I facilitate each group using a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and gender-affirming approach, integrating elements from:

  • Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)
